Fully Supported Details

An Adventure Cycling fully supported tour is a great choice for the adventure-hungry cyclist who prefers riding with a larger group and a smaller load — the individual who relishes the freedom of riding unencumbered but still enjoys camping and a cycling challenge. The dynamics forged and friendships made in the larger groups are regularly cited as some of the greatest benefits of a cycling tour (group size ranging from 40 to 90 participants).

Join Us for a Fully Supported Tour and Adventure Cycling will:

  • Plan your route each day; that’s done for you, in advance, over roads that are scenic and fun to ride.
  • Carry your clothes and camping gear; that’s what the support vehicle is for.
  • Adjust your bike’s brakes or shifters; the professional mechanic can do that for you at camp in the evening.
  • Plan and provide professionally catered meals and food stops, beginning with dinner on the first day and ending with lunch on the final day of the tour.
  • Allow you to ride at a pace that’s comfortable and enjoyable for YOU. A place to pitch your tent will be waiting for you in camp, no matter when you get there. And so will a delectable dinner.

Trip Cost Includes:

  • All meals and snacks
  • Overnight camping fees starting on the first day of the tour through
the evening before the last day’s ride
  • A professional mechanic whose services are available on the road during the day
    and each evening in camp
  • Maps, route markings, swag, and a safety triangle
  • Preparatory materials, including a copy of Before You Go: A Handbook for Adventure Cycling’s Supported Tours, which includes a packing list and training tips

  • List of official bike shops (where you may ship your bicycle or where rentals may be available)
